Blog Post #2: Diagnostic
I think the topic of Domestic Violence wold be a good topic to elaborate on. Not so much as just violence against the woman but also the violence against a man. I know, well I can say I've known guys to get physically and mentally abused by their partner. We should elaborate on this topic on all levels. Meaning no religion, ethnicity or sexuality will be dismissed from the conversation. We can talk about the difference of disrespect V.S abuse.

Tyri, your topic proposal is really interesting. I think we could perhaps even broaden it out to encompass attitudes about men/women in general, especially in terms of popular culture. There's an interesting debate going right now across the country because of things that political candidates and media news people have said about women. And there's a lot of controversy about Lupe Fiasco's song "Bitch Bad." And I really like your idea of including men and women. This might be a good opportunity to break down some stereotypes and open up a dialogue about how men and women view/treat each other.
I think this will be a interesting topic to discuss in class!
